IconBox 2.0 has arrived

ChickenByte & The IconBlock Ltd. are glad to announce IconBox 2.0, the successor to IconBox 1, the very first Icon Organizer for Mac OS X. When version 1 of IconBox was released seven years ago, it was the first Icon Organizer for Mac OS X, allowing users to conveniently organize their collection of icons in an iPhoto-like way. With version 2, IconBox has been completely rewritten and features a brand new interface and lot’s of extra features. IconBox 2.0 is one App with 4 modes.

Organize
We have the same convenient organization features with a couple of additions. The libraries are now called “Boxes”. Drag icons from the finder into a box, create as many boxes as you like.
Furthermore Boxes can be arranged in folders and subfolders and you can re-drag Boxes and folders to change their order. We also created “Smart Boxes”, like iTunes Smart Playlists, these folders are constantly updated based on given criteria. The search feature has been revamped to search for different criteria and the speed has been improved a lot.

Pixel meets code

We are proud to announce that The IconBlock Ltd. & ChickenByte Software are now working together to create the next installment in the IconBox series. As some of you may already know, ChickenByte software developed the very first icon organizer for OSX which literally changed the way mac users managed and stored their icons. Having used the first IconBox extensively and being huge fans ourselves of the application, it was almost surreal when the original dev team contacted us about a possible partnership.  We have been secretly working on this project ever since and we are finally approaching our private beta stage, where a randomly selected few will have the opportunity to test drive this new application before it’s made available to the general public. Melrose Chamber of Commerce

Hello everyone, it’s me James, I am very happy to announce that I will be representing The IconBlock Ltd. at a multi chamber networking event co-hosted by the Melrose Chamber of Commerce and Reading Chamber of Commerce. The event starts with the guest speaker Chris Stevens Vice President Corporate Relations and Customer Development and one of the founders of Keurig, Inc. – makers of Premium Coffee Systems. Chris is responsible for building the Keurig brand through outreach efforts to the media, key customers, trade associations, and other influence groups.
